Why Seal Coat?
Seal coating extends the appearance and durability of your driveway
Sealcoating will extend the life of the asphalt by forming a tough, durable coating protecting the surface from damaging elements of weather, salt, gas and other petroleum based products.
The dark black color improves the look of old and new pavements. Through oxidation, asphalt surfaces lose their rich, black color. Our process will return its original beauty
Sealcoating greatly reduces maintenance costs and at the same time extends the life of asphalt surface by as much as 300%. The overall cost is a minor expense in comparison to full replacement.
Prevents Water Infilfration
The intrusion of moisture into pavement accelerates the deterioration. Sealcoating prevents seepage from snow and rain preventing damaging freeze/thaw cycles.
The sun’s rays can oxidize the asphalt oils causing brittleness, loss of material integrity, binders, and its deep, rich black color. An asphalt surface will resist the damaging degradation extending the life of the asphalt surface.
Resists Fuel Infiltration
Sealer resists gas, oil, chemicals and salt, preventing breakdown of the binders and further damage.
How much dose it cost ?
Depending on many factors i.e current condition of the lot, cracks and pot, holes and size but most home owners get there two car driveway sealed for around $175 for commercial customers we charge 15 to 20 cents per sq ft
What if i don’t seal coat ?
Its not a matter of if but when your asphalt fails! After so long asphalt can no longer be sealed when cracks become past 3 inches wide. Asphalt will crack and break apart and become rubble and you must repave. The going rate for paving is $2-$3 sq ft so an average lot will cost $3000 vs. the cost it would have taken to seal coat that same space being $175 to $225. Sealing your driveway adds life to your driveway and protects your most importation investment, your property.
